Next, you will be led through steps to describe the channel, style the channel (set up graphic elements to brand your channel), and set up your production team.

[edit] Configure your channelpage

Every Mogulus Channel has a Channel Page. It’s like a mini website dedicated to your channel. It’s the first impression viewers will have of your channel. You enter this information on the 'my channelpage.'

Note: You have to enter all mandatory fields before going to the next step. Please pay attention to red outlined fields. This means your information is not entered or incorrect.



  • Full name
Type a longer name in the Full Name field to briefly describe your new channel. This will be the name people will see when they are viewing your channel.

  • Category
Choose from a list of standard categories.

  • Rating
Provide a parental advisory rating.

  • Time zone
Choose your time zone.

  • Language
Choose the language you'll be using for the channel.

Once your mandatory fields are entered, you can enter the resting information or come back later to do it. Remember to enter all the required information in the mandatory fields are you will not be able to access the next page.

[edit] The profile on your channelpage


  • Logo
Click the Browse button beside the default channel logo to upload your unique logo. The image should be square and no more than 100 KB. Mogulus accepts only still logos in “.jpeg”, “.gif”, and “.png” formats. We suggest you upload an image with transparent background. Try some drop shadow to make it visible on all occasions.


  • Profile
Type a Web profile (HTML and widgets are supported)

  • Twitter
Mogulus has a built in functionality with Twitter. Simply type your Twitter account name and your Twitter status will update on your channel page. Allowing your audience to remain in step with you while watching your channel.


  • Player color
You can choose the color of the player, and the background color of your channelpage. You can also choose to enable or disable the chat option.
  • Upcoming Events
Double-click over the fields to type upcoming events. These events will be publicized on your homepage and other Web locations. To add more events, click the Add New button.


  • Description
Type in some text to describe your channel. This text is shown to people when they search for channels.


  • Tags
Type in descriptive search tags that will help people find your channel when they are searching. Tags should be descriptive and not too limiting.
  • Links
The URL for your home Web site. Double-click and type the title (name) of your site, and its URL. To add more links to more sites, click the Add New button.


Once you are finished, click Next step or apply the changes.You can always come back to change your profile later on.

[edit] Style your channel

Welcome to the 'style channel' page. Here you can personnalize the graphics that appear on your channel. Full screens, straps, tickers,... Everything like on real TV. You can customize those changes afterwards in the 'broadcast live'page where you will mix those graphics live with your clips and cameras.

As you make changes in the left column, they will appear in the right preview window.

  • Full name
Enter the name you wish to show on your channel. This name will appear on the full screen.
  • Strap
Enter text for your strap. This will appear on the full screen under your channel's name.
  • Logo
Click the browse button to start locating your image. It shouldn't exceed 100KB and be a jpg or a png. This logo will appear on your full screen

  • Text Color
Choose your color for your text. It appears on full screen, ticker, lower third,..
  • Background Color
Now choose your color for the bacground of full screen, lower third,..
You can also choose a full screen style.

  • Test Card
Test cards are the graphics you can use when switching from one clip to another. You can upload an image by clicking the browse button. Your image should be a 4/3 format.
  • Ticker Speed
Changing the ticker speed will change the speed of your text in the lower strap.

Don't forget to save your changes once you're finished!

You can invite other members to join in the fun of live broadcasting. All you have to do is to invite them, and before you know it, they will be producing along with you.
