The LATEST SHOW on EARTH with web host Joe Hendel premieres live at the early morning hour of 2:08 AM on February 19th, 2008 following President's Day to ensure that Joe's Lower East Village cabal of wits and misfits, pundits and panderers, tunesters and tricksters can react to the very latest.
Some nights of this Tuesday to Friday night show will be live-on-tape and, on occasion, live but always the liveliest fun-fest with the last word and comments on the latest news and events both in the popular culture and this amazine year in American politics and world events.
There will be on the street and in the shops and boîtes segments with the amazing cast of characters that populate Joe's neighborhood.
Gary Lucas will be the opening night's musical director and the first member to what will be an eclectic collective of musical directors, players and vocal artists.
Steve Paul's productions have appeared in cellars an penthouses, on Broadway and at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. He has created television shows for public access, syndication and HBO and now, his new favorite medium, the ether. The LATEST SHOW on EARTH will be broadcast Monday through Thursday night on one of Steve Paul's networks in the ether, downtownTV.com, and will also appear on TheLATESTSHOWonEARTH.com.
